Beautiful Vintage 1960s Signed MYLU Winking Santa Claus With Chain Tassel Gold Tone Brooch/Pin In Great condition.
Fun Mylu winking Santa Claus Christmas pin with rhinestones and moving chain tassel... This highly three-dimensional pin has all the features I associate with MYLU: beautiful craftsmanship, their trademark metallic paints/enamels, rhinestone embellishments, frequent multi-part construction and/or moving parts, and excellent plating of gold-tone.
Santa is winking at us, and his open eye is a flashing green rhinestone. His nose is a red rhinestone - is it nippy out, or has Santa been nipping at the eggnog?! His red cap is painted using MYLU's signature metallic paint. Clear rhinestones adorn his cap.
Measures approximately 2 1/4" tall by 1 1/8" wide.
MYLU was Established by Lynne Gordon and Marge Borofsky in the 1960s, MYLU was in business for a relatively short time. It became a division of Coro in 1968, and closed in the Early 70s
