This listing is for a lovely silk scarf adorned with beautifully rendered floral bouquet motif. I would date this scarf to the 1950s. The floral motif featuring loosely rendered roses or peonies as well as some foliage, perfectly complementing the lightweight silk blend material of this scarf. The scarf measures about 32 x 31". The edges are hand rolled. The label states: pure silk, 5 momme, made in Japan. This scarf is in good (but not excellent) vintage condition. There are a few pin pricks, some puckering within the material and a faint discoloration in a few areas. Please note that this scarf has not been washed as vintage gold tone metallic dye typically does not do well in a wash. I would recommend to dry clean this piece.
