Fresh from an Ohio estate is a rare 1950’s brass chair attributed to designer Gio Ponti. Marked Made in Italy. The patent leather seat looks good with light wear. The brass is in as found condition. The legs seems to have a fair bit of wear to the lacquer. This does tend to look like a heavy patina on casual inspection, but if you want a shiny brass finish, you’ll likely need to have it re-lacquered. The seat back is in better condition with a nice patina. Please let me know if you have any questions.
